Welcome to OPEIU Local 11
Welcome to the Office & Professional Employees International Union, Local 11, an affiliate of the Office & Professional Employees International Union and the AFL-CIO.

OPEIU Local 11 was first chartered on February 1, 1945 and from that date forward we have continued to grow into the dedicated and viable organization we are today. We now have a total membership of approximately 2,000 working men and women employed in all phases of office, professional, technical and industrial related work located in five states…Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Utah.

The Officers, Staff and Shop Stewards are here to serve you in any way they can. Your Shop Steward is an employee, just like you, except he or she has been elected by his or her peers to be the onsite Union Representative in the workplace. A list of your Local’s Officers, Representatives and Stewards should be available on your workplace Union bulletin board. If not please ask your Steward.

OPEIU Local 11 is dedicated to foster a positive working environment and pathways toward a living saving wage for all members.
